General Summary of Purpose:
Works directly with the Facility Manager to coordinate the operations and implementations of the maintenance, security, housekeeping, space utilization and office furnishings to meet the needs of all Hayneedle departments.
What are the basic job duties of our Facility Coordinator?
Essential Functions:
- Works with the Facility Manager to plan, develop and implement necessary building needs and requirements along with receiving and distribution of mail, UPS, FEDEX and other deliveries.
- Assists with vendor contacts and appointment setting for various Hayneedle needs.
- Assist with setting up new phones, moving or trouble shooting telephony needs.
- Assist with maintaining a spreadsheet or database that includes floor plan layouts, personal location and equipment inventory.
- Assists HR with security needs.
- Maintains proper inventory for vending and works with the Facility Manager for purchases.
- Oversees housekeeping to insure supplies and proper cleaning are maintained for all aspects of the business including, break area, restrooms and common areas and works with the Facility Manager for purchases.
- Work with company’s management to help alleviate issues in their respective areas under the direction of the Facility Manager.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned
What basic qualifications will our Facility Coordinator need to have?
- High school degree required, associate degree in related maintenance fields preferred.
- Maintenance or related experience required.
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing & facility maintenance repair fields required.
- General telephony understanding required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Must have strong problem solving and decision making skills.
· Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Must have excellent customer service skills.
· Ability to handle/focus on multiple projects with various deadlines required.
· Ability to deal with unresolved situations and frequently changing environments required.
· Must have strong analytical skills.
· Ability to perform job duties in a safe manner required.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds required.
