Position Description
In this temporary/seasonal position Wildlife Technicians may get involved in a number of environmental projects. In one project, Technicians will collect and record waterfowl and gull species field data. Work is done from a 18-ft center console outboard boat which the Wildlife Technician operates and or serves as crew chief or crew member. The position may also include field work with fish sampling efforts, other field assignments or biological lab projects. Keyword(s): Requisition

Must have a minimum of an Associates degree in Applied Science in Wildlife or a closely related discipline (environmental science, ecology, biology, etc).
A minimum of one year experience in bird identification, particularly with Eastern North American waterfowl and gull species and fish sampling programs is preferred.
Experience in performing technical duties such as sample collection, recording data is required. Must have a clean, valid drivers license and experience with small boat operations.
