Marketplace Development Manager

Our client is seeking a Marketplace Development Manager to join their growing team. The Marketplace Development Manager plays a key role in the escalating success of this strategic initiative focusing on expanding market share, improving plan competitiveness, managing marketplace relationships, and ensuring compliance with federal and state marketplace requirements. The ideal candidate will possess analytical and strategic thinking with a strong understanding of healthcare economics, insurance product design, and marketplace enrollment dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, recruit, and retain relationships with health insurance carriers who participate in the marketplace
• Work closely with other departments, including Product Development, Sales & Marketing, and Customer Success
• Effectively manage multiple projects from a strategic, operational, and logistical perspective
• Contribute to the overall success of the marketplace by ensuring seamless integration
• Apply knowledge of the health insurance industry to identify opportunities and navigate market changes continually enhancing products

Requirements

• Two to five years previous industry related experience
• Ability to manage a variety of tasks independently and ensure projects run smoothly
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster and develop both internal and external relationships
• Possess a meticulous approach to managing tasks and projects
• Implement a proactive and self-motivated approach to driving success
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for immigration support or sponsorship 
• Willingness to work onsite full-time
